TOP 10 FREQUENTLY-ASKED-QUESTIONS

1. I think I want to learn to fly. How can I try flying before I commit to training? This is a great question. We offer a great solution for this, it's called a Discovery Flight. On this flight you will be with a Certified Flight Instructor who will allow you to fly the airplane and teach you basic control on the airplane. It is an instructional flight that can go into your logbook! Cost is $175 and will last around 45 minutes.
2. How long will it take me to get my Private Pilot License? The key to obtaining your license in the shortest amount of time possible, is consistency. If you commit to train 2-3 times a week, you will get through your training in 6-9 months. If you want to get it sooner, train more often each week. The FAA requires that you have a minimum of 40 hours flight time to take a checkride for your Private Pilot License. However the national average is closer to 70 hours. At ITP, we want to get you to your license in the shortest amount of time possible, but to do it in the safest manner at the same time.
3. How much does it cost to get a Private Pilot License? There are many variables that affect the actual cost. As mentioned above how consistency will save you time, it actually will save you cost as well.  Type of aircraft will also play into the final cost of obtaining your license. 5. Does ITP provide complete training all the way through professional pilot? Yes we do! Our Zero to Professional Program will take you from your first hour of training to 300 hours. This program is designed to help you get your private pilot, instrument, commercial single engine, multi-commercial, CFI and CFII certificates and ratings. We specialize in meeting you where you are in life, and training you from there. We can work around your schedule. Reach out to us to see a presentation of our Z2P Program! 
6. Does ITP do advanced training? We do all levels of fixed wing training from Private Pilot through Commercial and Certified Flight Instructor. We also do multi-engine training and endorsements for complex, high-performance, spins and more.
7. Do you offer groundschool? We do teach groundschool! However for preparation for the written tests, we have partnered with Sporty's Aviation for their award winning video-based groundschool, and Jason Schappert and MZeroA Online Groundschool. We have great success with our students using both of these resources! Reach out to us and we will help get you set up.

9. How are the airplanes maintained? ITP has it's own full-time mechanics who perform regular FAA mandated inspections and all repairs.
10. How does scheduling for flights/training sessions work? You will schedule and book your own training sessions and flights. You know your schedule better than we do, and you can see ITP's full schedule at any given moment. It's most efficient and beneficial to let our students and pilots make their own reservations.
