Darren earned his Private Pilot Certificate in 2016, and like a lot of pilots, life kept moving. The instrument rating has been on his list — something he worked toward over the years in pieces, fitting it in where he could.
The last six months have been different. Darren put his head down and decided it was time. Consistent, focused, deliberate — flight after flight, approach after approach. His attention to detail and level of preparation have been something we're genuinely proud to watch. Worth mentioning: Darren is one of ITP's co-owners, which says something about the kind of place we try to be. Nobody is above the training.
Working with him through this stretch has been Emily, one of our senior instructors — and as you can see from the photo, they're having a good time doing something serious. That's the ITP way.
