The work behind the flight

Maintenance first. Safety in every decision.

ITP’s maintenance team, aircraft inspections, preflight preparation and instructor judgment all matter before a lesson begins. Ask the school about current safety, security and visitor-access procedures.

A team focused on the fleet

ITP describes an in-house maintenance department and 100-hour and annual inspections for its training aircraft. Ask how the team handles inspections, repairs and aircraft availability for your training plan.

Report what you notice

ITP’s pilot agreement calls for aircraft discrepancies to be reported and for pilots to follow current dispatch, aircraft-care, fuel, weather and airport procedures. Students learn to take those steps seriously, not to treat them as a formality.

A considered go/no-go decision

Aircraft status, weather and the purpose of the lesson can all change the day’s plan. Under ITP’s published pilot agreement, the owner, flight-school director and instructors have final authority over go/no-go decisions.

Security and access

ITP’s published agreement addresses applicable FAA eligibility and TSA requirements. Before visiting or beginning training, ask the office what current identity, guest and airport-access procedures apply to you; do not assume a website inquiry is clearance to enter an operating area.
