Start with a training estimate you understand. Then compare what you can pay as you go, any scholarship support and the terms of financing you may be considering.
The school’s public FAQ says it is re-evaluating its funding solutions. Call 214.817.1055 to confirm current providers, eligible programs and the correct application route. A conversation about training is separate from a lender’s decision.

1 / Define what you need to fund
Break the training into stages. Include the costs outside flight lessons and consider what changes if you need more time or additional hours.

Which certificate or rating fits your goal?
Which expenses does the provider allow you to finance?
What training pace is realistic?
When do repayments begin, including during training?
What happens if you need more lessons?
How will you cover an increase in costs?
What is the school’s cancellation or refund policy?
No. Confirm the current provider and approved application route directly with ITP. Do not enter financial, identity-document or credit information into the school inquiry form.
Will my application be approved?
Only the provider can determine eligibility and offer terms. A school inquiry, training plan or website submission is not approval.
Can I finance a first certificate or an additional rating?
Ask whether your exact program, training school and intended use of funds qualify. Provider rules can differ; do not assume all flight training is covered.
Is a smaller monthly payment always cheaper?
Compare the repayment length, interest, fees and total amount repaid alongside the monthly payment. Ask the provider to explain the differences in writing.
Does the school offer federal student aid or veterans’ funding?
Do not assume that a flight program qualifies. Ask the school and the relevant program administrator to confirm the specific school, course and eligibility before including any benefit in your budget.
